Whew....that is what I feel like tonight! My weekend has been nonstop!! It started with a busy Friday night shopping for a bridal gift that took way too long to purchase. An hour and a half and 3 sales associates later, they finally figured out how to ring up my purchase. I said never mind to the gift wrapping after waiting an additional 15 minutes! I decided I could do that at home:).
Saturday was a packed one. My mom came down and spent the day and night with me. We always try to cram in so many things in such a short amount of time! After picking up Natalie we headed to Robinson Auditorium to watch Savannah in her dance competition. Her competitive dance group was competing in Showbiz. They are awesome dancers. She only had one dance on Saturday, so after leaving the competition we went to Natalie's house to sew drapes for her living and dining room! We made a few trips out to grab some things we needed to finish the installation, but other than that we were working girls. The drapes turned out awesome...again I promise to post some pics later.
Saturday night Paul and I went with our friends Randy and Donna Dennis to a Mexican Fiesta for Joanna Lynch and Jeremy White. They are getting married in April. The food was wonderful and I got to see several friends that I had not seen in a while! We ended the night back at Natalie's installing the drapes.
Sunday we headed back to Robinson bright and early to watch Savannah perform her solo. She had several more dances that were scattered throughout the day so we were there basically all day. I love watching her dance. She is so fun and entertaining on stage. There is just something about watching my children perform that makes me smile! Mom had to leave early....but it was absolutely wonderful having her here for the weekend, even though it was not long enough. Time does fly when you are having fun...and we were having fun!:) I want to give a shout out to Joy Brown...thanks for coming to watch Savannah dance. Loved having you and sweet Miller there.
Ended the weekend by having dinner with my Natalie and Paul at a wonderful Mexican restaurant. Enjoyed sitting and chatting with Natalie after dinner. I love my kids so much...they are the best. I might be partial....but really they are great.
Hope your weekend was wonderful....and you remembered to "show some love" to someone!
Blessings and LOVE....Lisa
